Yes, I was, "AM", a McCain/Palin supporter! I feel that America is heading down a dark road. NO! I am not racist and this is not a racist issue! This is an AMERICAN ISSUE! I feel Barack Hussein Obama will take this country in a direction we don't want to go!
This is the first comment I have ever posted... this great country was founded on the hard work and blood of many. Our white fore fathers went to africa and forced african's to do our bidding and build a great country.. now after hundreds of years YES THEY TO ARE ENTITLED TO THE AMERICAN DREAM ! You can be anything you want that's what they teach us right ... so YES it is a long time coming we have a black president!!!
I would disagree there. I know that a lot of Obama supporters don't even know what direction it is he wants to go. I'm not a McCain supporter, but I do believe that ignorance led to the outcome of this election.

Hey, chill down. No one said anything about bibles and guns here, and stereotyping people like that just makes you look stupid. Not all Republicans are ignorant Christian fundamentalist gun-loving rednecks, just like not all Democrats are undercover Communists. The world has evolved past that cheap dichotomy.
I'm pretty happy myself that Obama won the election, mostly because of his foreign policy and because I believe Sarah Palin and all of her offspring should be publicly executed for the sake of making the world a smarter place. But I'm not about to insult people that voted for McCain - in spite of the many flaws he has (and he who has none can feel free to toss the first stone here, just give me time to duck first) he's a man who knows what his priorities are - it just happens that most of the USA doesn't agree with them right now.
If you thought the country was going great and change wasn't necessary, you voted for McCain. If you realized we needed change, you voted for Obama. The people have spoken. Get over it.

First of all I have nothing against a Black President. For that matter I have nothing against Blacks. I have trouble with things Obama has said and done in his past which he now says was not him. Have you read either of his, I repeat "HIS", books? The two that I read is what lead to me voting for McCain.

I do like & have guns. Most hunters do. But that was not a big factor in the election for me. I am neither a Republican or a Democrat I consider myself an Independent. And if Mike Huckabee would have been a choice I feel he was the better man! There have been MANY thing over the past year or so that has turned me off on Obama. BUT! We do live in America and at least as of this election we are a free country and each of us has the right to choose who WE want to win. It's called a democracy and I am proud to live here! We'll just have to wait to see what he can do with his new position.

This is a good step for our nation and makes us look better in the eyes of the world after Bush tarnished our reputation.
Don't worry -- Barack's not a Muslim and he won't take away your bibles and guns.
Please stop spewing hate.
